i guess at the back of my mind is always how to teach you all so that you will perform to your maximum potential. cos seriously, i dun think 4F is just an average class. i fall in love with the spirit that u all have when i first step into the class... but it would be a waste if the results of the class is not showing at the end of the yr.

i am not referring to my subject only - in fact i am talking abt the whole class. but through my subject i am fearful that you all are not doing well... could it be my explanation not able to make u understand? could it be that i am pressuring too much with many assignments and worksheets? could it be that i speak both languages when i teach? all these i have been reflecting constantly and every now and then.

these 2 days i have shared with u about the fact that there are certain number of peeps gg for SSS... that is something i hope that you all will treasure wad the school have for u... dun ever take it that we are punishing u for wad u have not done - but take it that we are giving you the environment to strive n work hard. you need to work hard - for your future.

jiayou 4F, if i have not given hope on you... you should not give up hope on urself - let's make this from a good class to a great class where we can celebrate our success at the end of the year.

Mr Kiw talked to me today and we discussed about many things. The most discussed topic would be our results as a class. What inspired me to share this message to the class is that in his heart, he cares for us. Maybe showing his care through a perspective like no other, and to us, showing care in a horrible manner. But were we appreciative of his care, of his concern?

As we know, our results have not been good. But I believe our class have the potential to challenge other classes not only in class league, but academically as well. This however, relies a lot on you, me,and us. I want to see a class where we help each other achieve our dreams, helping each other fly to greater heights. I want to see Dillon topping a chemistry paper, Nick topping physics paper etc.

I want to see people who are good in sciences(Terence) to help people weaker in sciences( janson) I want to see people good in English(Angeline) helping people that are weaker in languages( yokeming) I want to see people good in geog( Deborah) helping people poor in geog( I don’t know)

There are many times I myself as the chairperson of 4f have not lead by example to everyone. Academically, I was never a role model for the class. But from a corner deep in my heart, I want all of us to do well academically. Like what Mr Yap , Mr Kiw and even your parents mentioned. We are students, our job is to study.

Everything else is secondary. I hope to see us hand in hand working together, helping each other reach for the stars.

History of Valentines Day
We all indeed know about valentine day date i.e. fourteenth February and that it is a day of lovers. But I'm sure many of us do not have a clear idea as to who discovered Valentines Day and how did the very idea of celebrating Valentine's Day come from? Many of us are ignorant about the origin of Valentine's Day. It is interesting to learn about Valentine Day story so read further to know about the history of Valentines Day.

Actually nobody has a clear idea as to who was saint valentine because there were three different saint Valentines and all were martyred. Some stories suggest that valentine day owes its origin to the Roman Empire during the reign of emperor Claudius II. It was in those times when the emperor felt that married men turned out to be poor soldiers and thus he was against the very idea of marriage of young couples. But when he got to know that saint valentine defied him and was secretly encouraging young lovers to get married, he passed orders for his death. And it was on the fourteenth of February when this great saint valentine died in around 270 AD. A couple of stories suggest that saint valentine protected Christians from the clutches of harsh Roman punishments.While some maintain that Valentine himself initiated the concept of sending love message in which he had ended the note by writing 'from your valentine'.
